Newport Aquarium

Last Sunday we drove down to Newport Aquarium for the day. This is the same aquarium that housed Keiko from the movie Free Willy for a little while before they released him into the wild. It was a nice aquarium but I've been to bigger and thought it would be larger. But they had nice displays and some tanks you could touch.

This little otter was very cute but he decided to lay there and clean himself and he happened to be cleaning a certain area more then we cared to see.

This was one of the safe fish Mackenzie could touch...

Mackenzie enjoyed the walk through tunnels and looking at all the large fish and sharks...

We had great weather for the Oregon coast...

The jellyfish were very cool looking...

This was a neat hands on tank...

Mackenzie was mesmerized by this large school of fish...

Does anyone understand seahorses? They are so odd looking...

Here was Mackenzie in the gift store. She loves ducks and she picked out every yellow duck they had in the box and the left the other colors alone...
