1 year photos

Here are Mackenzies 1 year old photos. We had a trying day there at the studio and it was hard trying to keep a 1 year old to stay put.

Better times!

While the kids were sledding we hung out in the truck to keep dry and warm. We could see them having fun. Mackenzie liked being in the truck better then outside.

SNOW DAY

We took the kids up to Mt Hood today so they could go sledding. It was terrible Oregon conditions - it was raining up at the mtn! But after all that we had to let the kids sled. After buying Mackenzies snowgear in preparation for today I was bound and determined to get her out in it long enough to snap a picture. This was the picture I got. Sometimes it is all about the parents!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MACKENZIE RAE!
I cannot believe a year has gone by already and I'm sure all parents say the same thing. It's been a great year getting to know our girl.

We chose to go small and celebrate her birthday at home with family. She started getting more into her presents as they were getting opened out of the packages and you can see she enjoyed her very own cake.

The first picture is from the TV. The local news station celebrates first birthdays on the show.

This picture was taken on November 4th. Mackenzie started taking steps on November 8th at 10 1/2 months. She is now gaining speed on those steps. She has also been clapping. And seems to clap when the word is mentioned.

won't quite take the plunge and walk.

PUMPKIN PATCH 2007

Today we went to the local pumpkin patch. Mackenzie is 10 months old today. She seemed to enjoy everything that the patch had to offer, as well as a 10 month old could. She rode on the train, rode on a pony and even rode on a paddle boat. Checked out some pigs, rabbits, a chicken and a couple goats. The sun was shining and it was a good day.

Mackenzie @ 9 1/2 months

She weighs 22lbs and is 30.75" tall. Most the
time she is wearing 18 to 24 months clothes.

Has 2 bottom teeth and 3 top teeth coming in.
Crawling all over. Pulling herself up to things.
She's stood a couple times on her own, but that
is pretty short lived.

Here she is playing with her farm toy in her
halloween jammies.

8 1/2 months

Mackenzie now has 2 bottom teeth and she has been crawling
and pulling herself up to standing positions on most anything. She has also
been jabbering and we've heard the common sound "da-da" a few times.

Today we were at our company picnic at Oaks Amusement Park.
Mackenzie took a ride down the big slide and she also rode on the old time carousel.

Mackenzie crawled into baby Lukas's room and saw this floor length
mirror and she was just amazed at that other little girl looking back
at her.

We went to San Diego to visit one of my best friends who just had a baby boy almost 1month ago. It was a short trip but it was great to see them and meet their son Lukas.
The bottom picture I took to show Mackenzie in front of the palm trees. I love palm trees and so wish we had them here at home.

SEA WORLD SAN DIEGO

One of the days we went to SEAWORLD. We got more caught up manuevering our way through the crowds and limiting Mackenzie in the sun that we didn't take too many pictures. Also she gets preoccupied with all the distractions and she is sometimes hard to get a photo snapped of her. She seemed to have a good day and is very easy to travel with.

BOUND FOR SAN DIEGO

This was Mackenzie's first flight. She actually did rather well, maybe because it was a short flight. On our way down we rode in 1st class which gave us a lot of extra room that is very helpful when you're flying with a baby. On the way back we were in coach and it was a different story of comfortability and the plane was full.
