Tonight we went to a local hometown parade. It's very small but it seems to excite this small town. It's mostly old cars since there is a car show the next day.
This year my Dad drove his 65 Chevy Impala in the parade. He won it years ago at work when he put in money on a $40 square in a basketball pool. He said it was the last buzzer of the game, someone swished a shot and that won him the car. The car is still under construction and it was fun to see him driving through town with my brother tossing out candy.
