ADVENTURE ON THE RIVER

Today we decided to check out the rivers. We have not done this before and wasn't sure what to expect. The weather was iffy and we knew rain was in our forecast. Daddy was prepared and brought all the covers for the boat so we were fully enclosed and we stayed snug and dry inside when the showers came. Sometimes it was raining pretty hard! We went clear up into the city and enjoyed all the bridges and the sights. We have never seen the bridges from the underneath angle and so wished that the names were on them.
We went past the city and found a nice area to pull off and the sun was out so we took a break and stretched our legs on land. At one point Mackenzie got a little too close to the water and was standing in it. Luckily I had a change of clothes for her and had put her play shoes on.
We had a great day and hope to go back again soon.
