Reactions to Things

I took Mackenzie into our shower with me last Saturday night. I forgot to grab her soap and was reluctant to use our bar soap on her. Her clothes get washed in regular detergent these days and thought maybe it would be alright.
Next morning this is how she looked! Red blotchy all over her torso and thigh area. I gave her some childrens benadryl and by the afternoon it was still there. I went ahead and called the advice nurse and she instantly asked if she ate anything different. When I answered with no and told her about the bar soap she said that could have done it. And of course told me to watch her and it should go away within a couple days. She was right, by Wednesday it was pretty much gone. Motherhood is all about live and learn.
