This evening we met some friends at a local nearby town and checked out the Robin Hood Festival they put on there. I love that era. Every year we have talked about going and finally we went. It was interesting but it was a lot of vendor booths. We watched part of a show being put on and enjoyed some shaved ice. The kids were with us and they are getting so old and independant. Steve gave them some money to go run off and check things out. They came back with a fake snake they won in the carnival area and 2 tattoos! Airbrushed of course.
We went and took a seat by a stage where a band was playing. Eli and Mackenzie totally got their groove on. There was a large open area in front of the stage and the people sitting around seemed to get a kick out of them dancing to the music. Even the singer made a comment about them. It was pretty cute. I will try to attach a short video I took of them dancing.
After we left the festival we drove up the hill and went to a very cool park. It had a lot of things to do there! There was even a sand area that had water that flowed through it. Sand toys are there too. Of course I didn't want Mackenzie in there, of all days she had on white shorts!
The little kids, big kids and adults played and had a good time and then we all headed for home.
