POTTY PAINTS

Well Mackenzie is still painting with her own body paints! She still is pooping in her diaper, digging in it and showing us with an "ewwwwww" comment. If she is in her crib when this happens, and we don't get there in time, she is painting it on her crib and painting it on her walls! It is sooo disgusting! I have yet to find anyone else that has gone through this themselves. From everything I have read online that this is just a stage and eventually she will outgrow it. What also is bad is a few days a week she goes to my parents house and a daycare lady and they have both experienced it. Which is bothersome for us. It's bad enough that we have to deal with it but we don't like someone else having to deal with it.

I have tried to look locally for shirts that snap and at 3T/4T size they are very hard to find. Last week my mom and I found this website online that sells them and I got 2 white ones in the mail over the weekend and so far it has already proven worthy of the purchase! On Sunday I put one on her, I layed her down for her nap and pretty soon I heard an "ewwww" coming from the room. When I hustled in there she was standing up saying ewww but her hands were clean! AWESOME! So yesterday I went to the website and ordered a few more shirts. So it looks like our little lady will be wearing these shirts for awhile.

We have been sitting her on her potty chair and she'll sit there but she is missing quite a few of the readiness signs. But at least she's getting acquainted with it and maybe eventually she'll surprise us.

Great idea!!! I rarely put onesies on Paisley anymore just because I don't like them as much as regular shirts but this sounds like the perfect use of them!!! Good luck with potty training :-)

I thought my kids tried everything but thankfully I never had to deal with that one. However, while living in UT a friend/neighbor did and she was so frustrated (don't blame her) and we moved before I know what she did or what worked for her. Sorry, no help, glad you found something that works though!
