Family Day at the Zoo

Sunday we all went to the zoo. We needed to wait until Daddy got home from work so this was the first time that we went late in the day. I will say it was a nice change. People seemed to be on their way out and by the time we were done the place was decently spaced of crowds. And the sun was setting different on the animal areas so that seemed different too.

This was the first time Mackenzie let us put her up on this cute little barrel horse.

There is an area that you can go in and pet the goats. There must have been about 20 goats in there and a lot of them were young ones and they were so full of energy and playful! There were a couple of them that were head butting each other. This one was the smartest one. He was up on higher ground and would raise up then come crashing down on the one below. We did not let Mackenzie go in there since it was so rowdy. But we had a good time watching them play.
