TV WATCHING

Ok, Mackenzie really likes her shows. She mostly watches Backyardigans, Veggietales and Wonderpets. I know it's not wonderful that she watches these shows so we try to limit her viewing time. There are times that she will bring both remotes to us, her way of saying "play!"

Shrek characters seems to be her favorite of the movie genre. I think it all started back in December when ABC aired Shrek the Halls. Thank goodness for Tivo and to this day she still watches that show.
We have all 3 Shrek movies and she will even carry the DVD cases around. Shrek 2 seems to be the one that gets played in the TV the most.

My whole point to this is this morning I get to work and had a message from my husband. He said when I left for work this morning he had the news on out in the front room where she was playing. He went to the back room and was checking his emails then he got up to check on her. There she was, sitting on the couch, both remotes in her hand, watching Shrek 2. I had put the movie in the night before and had it set up to play and had hit pause but then turned it on to regular TV.
She had figured out, with holding 2 different remotes in her hand, how to get the movie on. I know it's all coincidental but it just cracked us up.
